A foreign new world - A poem about immigrant children

--

Immigrant kids, with eyes full of dreams,
Arrive on these shores with hope in their seams.
Leaving behind all that they know,
In search of a better future, where they can grow.

They face many challenges, both big and small,
Learning a new language and culture, standing tall.
They struggle to fit in and make new friends,
But they persist, their determination never ends.

Despite the odds, they shine bright and bold,
Bringing their own unique stories to be told.

A symbol of hope and inspiration with hopes to restore this once great nation.

So let us welcome these young hearts with open arms,
For they are not taking but giving us their charm.
Their future is our future, and we are all one,
Together, we can build a brighter tomorrow, where everyone has won.
